• The Glass House

The Glass House of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Glass House of Al-Anon meet in the yellow building directly behind the church. The house sponsors 28 in-person and 15 online meetings each week, plus two hybrid meetings. All meetings are non-smoking and wheelchair accessible. For more information or to see a schedule of meetings, visit their website at glasshousegroup.org.

  • Ridglea Giving Garden

The Ridglea Giving Garden is located on the northwest corner of the church's property, next to the Glass House. The parking lot can be accessed via Hemsell Place behind the church. The garden was originally built by the Tarrant Area Food Bank as a learning garden to provide a place where community members can learn about effective gardening techniques while they help tend the garden and grow nutritious fruits and vegetables that are distributed to those in need. After transitioning to the Giving Garden in 2024, the focus shifted to food production to help address hunger in our community by providing fresh fruits and vegetables to local organizations. Each week, volunteers help plant and harvest fruits and vegetables, pull weeds, turn compost, and take care of other tasks to keep the garden going. To volunteer for a garden workday, click here to sign up through the TAFB Volunteer Page.

  • Depression Connection

Depression Connection is dedicated to building supportive communities for those facing mental health challenges through peer-led support groups and educational outreach in Tarrant County. We provide a place and a process where change and recovery are possible. We present the opportunity for individuals to improve their health and wellness, live a self directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. Our help begins in providing the skills and tools needed to re-connect or regain the fullness, sense and purpose in living, that depression has taken away.

Ridglea hosts three Depression Connection group meetings each week, and all are free of charge. For more information, visit depressionconnection.org.
