PURPOSES:
1. To provide contributors the opportunity to give to a specific permanent memorial to Reverend Neil Pointer.
2. To affirm the Pointer family’s preference to have Neil remembered in ministries rather than in facilities.
3. To augment the Education Department’s "Campership" budget so that ultimately all youth of Ridglea Christian Church may attend the summer camps and conferences of the Trinity Brazos Area Christian Church without charge and without regard to membership status.

ADMINISTRATION:
1. The Treasurer shall accumulate donated funds and earnings in Ridglea Christian Church’s savings account, the Centennial Money Market Trust at A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. When the Endowment reaches $5,000, it shall be permanently invested with the Christian Church Foundation.
2. Earnings shall be credited to the Education Department after the end of March each year.
3. All earnings shall be allocated each year in an equal or proportional amount to each camper.

CONDITIONS:
1. The Endowment is permanent and shall not be spent.
2. When the Endowment reaches $100,000, the Trustees shall consider closing it.
3. In the event Ridglea Christian Church terminates its ministries, assets of the Fund shall be transferred to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with instructions for the disbursing of income.

The A. Neil Pointer Memorial Camp and Conference Scholarship Endowment Fund policy was adopted by the Board of Ridglea Christian Church on October 14, 1998.
